It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. "Woodpecker Lodge was the middle one of three lodges situated about 100yds back from the lake. This is a very rural, spacious and quiet site with a good mix of lodges, caravans and camping. The reception was warm and friendly and the rules of the site, given to us on a leaflet when we arrived, were clear but unobtrusive and made good sense. We would certainly return. The Bulls Head in nearby Clipston was a great choice for food too."
