Lakes Hotel and Spa

Lakes Hotel and Spa

10/10 Excellent
"Most amazing spa and hotel I have ever been. Me and my boyfriend stayed for the weekend and had the best anniversary! Super relaxing couples massage and best facilities. The food at the Mizumi is a must and was so delicious. The added extras we got was amazing and simply prefect. The room was spacious and luxurious. The staff were super friendly and helpful and gave us great tips and stuff to do! Simply perfect stay (especially for a romantic getaway) x"

"Room clean enough. Quick self check in no problem. Most staff helpful. Manager in the morning were rude and very unhelpful!. We asked for a little bit of milk for an elderly lady's morning cup of tea, the manager told us NO and the cleaning staff who put milk in the fridges don't start until 9am? Very rude and not helpful in the slightest.. they had a 2L carton of milk on the table at the time too.."

"Sells itself as a hostel but it really isn't though it does have its quirks. I would recommend you don't check in when it opens at 3pm as we had a wait but this was expedited a little by competing our details on our phone while we waited. Staff pleasant. Room was bigger than expected and was comfortable and quiet. Bed good. Shame there were no drink making facilities - I'm British! Breakfast was simple but good quality. As an example of a quirk there were hard boiled eggs but no scrambled or fried, so a bit odd for me. If you can get the hotel a good price you will be pleasantly surprised."

"Cleanliness of the bathroom was quite poor and the pillows in the room were incredibly firm. Small amount of tea coffee supplies in room. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful."
