Also cleaning for a weeks worth of booking time we got two room cleaning. Staff was helpful with local moose and aurora sightings. Room had a few hairs in tub and toilet. Lamp had a mind of its own it would not stay on or off coming on at different times by itself. The maintenance man did come in and fix the heating problem. It would not turn up or down on the thermostat also. The blackout shades did not work and they could not get them working had two sets of automatic shades. The one you needed from the sun did not work so it was pretty bright in the room all the time. The breakfast for the most part was good. It was different on each day with the main items pancakes waffles French toast, bacon sausage. The main problem were the people staying in the hotel one family will let their kids run up and down the halls about 11 to midnight at night. You could hear people walking upstairs on the third floor and sounded like they’re coming through the ceiling. We called the office twice. They did send a person down to tell them, but the person really didn’t listen to them. We also had people next to us. That would laugh loud and you could hear a lot. It didn’t have good insulation between the rooms. The beds were good. The pillows were not." Perfect for a peaceful rest after a busy day. Their welcome kit and visitor guide was a good surprise with very nice tips and directions - one of the best ones we saw in the market. Overall, the cabin has everything you may need, kitchen utensils/appliances and is about 10 minutes drive from groceries, gas station and restaraunts. The host response time is very quick, replied all our questions, gave us good tips and advices on things to do nearby. Very attentive to make sure we would not have to worry with anything and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Would go above and beyond if needed to make that happen. Will definitely recommend and book again whenever visiting Fairbanks area another time."
