"The staff were so friendly, so helpful--ordering us a taxi, explaining about the Oxford Bus to Heathrow, etc. The concept of turning a prison into a hotel--wow! Our room was fabulous. The whole setting and what has been done with this enormous golden stone building is so imaginative and fun. Great location for walking/shopping in Oxford. Close to everything."

"The staff were very welcoming and polite. There is ample parking. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, clean and had good amenities. There is a good sized swimming pool which has allocated children hours. There was a good selection at breakfast and you can also order off a menu too. The restaurant also provided a good selection for dinner. The hotel is in a good location and a short uber ride from Oxford city centre. "

"This is a truly lovely hotel, very clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was fresh and delightful, and the bar was a pleasant addition. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, which was very enjoyable. My only minor suggestion would be regarding the bed, which I personally found to be a bit firm. Aside from that, I would gladly stay again and highly recommend it."
