We have been staying at the Edgewater for years. We like the balcony rooms that overlook the water and it's central location. Rooms are a little outdated but always clean. The staff is nice and friendly and are always helpful.

Staff was professional, quick and informative. Room was clean, beds comfortable. View from room was cute, continental breakfast. Parking was sufficient considering we stayed during Jeep week. Close to many restaurants, shops and the aquarium. 10 or so minute walk to all amenities. Very pleased with the experience. Would book again.

The property listing and the staff both referred to this location as a hotel (doors open to hallway/ lobby) when it was in fact a motel (doors open straight outside). We intentionally avoid motels for safety reasons, so to find out we were staying in a motel that day was a little disappointing. The rooms also were not the most clean. One of them had mold in it, which I informed staff. There were lots of gnats in the showers for some reason, and the fridge was missing shelves and other parts, making it hard to take advantage of that space. It was pretty cool to see a bear in the parking lot though, and I know the staff could only do so much for us, but they were nice.

Had a great stay. Friendly helpful staff and a nice room!
