"We stayed for 5 days for my sons Mcrd graduation, it slept all 8 of us and we brought a blow up for the extra sleeping space. Full kitchen and laundry room made our stay more comfortable. Super close to the park and a lil corner market that made last minute needs easy. Coffee shop around the corner was great and neighborhood was great. Will definetly make this our go to spot if it’s available. I will say this the house is a little older built in the 20s and the water pressure isn’t the greatest...

"Cute home moments walk away from the ocean and tidal pool adventures. Short drive to La Jolla Shores Beach for great swim, surf, SUP and beach time for the whole family to enjoy. Kitchen has most of basic needs for a small family. Kids bed arrangement best for small children - our 7 year old was able to use - our older children used the couch to sleep at night. "Absolutely loved this property. We spent most of our time outside relaxing in the yard - sometimes around the fire pit. We also loved walking the trail system that circles the lagoon that is right by the property. The house had everything we needed and was well appointed. I had trouble opening the door - my fault! and the host responded very promptly. No other issues at all. The most relaxing trip. I am already trying to see when we can come back. Thank you!!"

"Quaint upstairs bungalow located near beach and downtown shopping/bar area. We were not up to speed on the Ocean Beach vibe, but if you are looking for an old time, relaxed beach experience, this is for you. Apartment unit was well stocked. Nothing fancy, but its the beach! Parking is limited to street. Not a problem in February, but might be a little challenging during the summer season."

"Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. About 15-20 minute drive to the zoo, the gas lamp district and restaurants. Roomy, with high-end amenities. We were very pleased. Two minor issues to consider: bedrooms are downstairs (and one sleeping area only has a curtain for privacy) so those staying up late need to walk softly and be really quiet after others have gone to bed. "The VRBO was as cute and clean as advertised. The owner was quick to respond to an issue we had. We were in San Diego to see family and could prepare a couple of meals in the fully stocked kitchen. We felt safe in the neighborhood The only negative was the busy 4 lane street in front. However, it tells you that in the information and we knew it was a busy street. I would highly recommend Sand Dollar Villa and would stay there again."

"Really nice black bottom pool that stayed really warm, the backyard is sheltered from the wind and gets nice sun throughout the day. The game room was super fun for our kids and the property is well appointed. It didn’t have wine glasses and I sent the property manager a note asking if they were somewhere I couldn’t see and they dropped off some new ones since they weren’t there, same day. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels too"
