I booked it as it was about 30 mins from the airport, on night of arrival, heading north up the coast. Did not arrive till 10pm, all lights off, looked deserted, but by the reception entry there is a night bell. Rang it, expecting to be torn off a strip for arriving late, or even get no answer, but the landlady appeared (in her dressing gown) and made me feel most welcome,. Perfect location, across road from foreshore and beach. Walking distance to shops, cafes, supermarkets, scenic walks. Bus stop few minutes down road to go to other areas of island. Clean and well equipped room with all you need. Each room has own balcony or patio area. Decent sized clean and inviting plunge pool. Laundry service $10 a load, I believe, didn’t use it. It's a relatively new hotel near the lakes for runs or jogs. Also close to Westfields and a wealth of restaurants and cafes. Superb.

A good, practical, serviceable motel if you need to be in Morayfield area. Very clean. Pleasant to have the grass area at the back if you get one of those rooms (I recommend requesting that). The tavern serves good meals and there are plenty of fast food places and local restaurants within walking distance as well as supermarkets.
