Weather was great went to visit my grandchildren who live nearby pod was great could do with a good clean on outside and decking was abit wobbly would come again good price for what it was the bed really clean toilets and showers considering how many people on site

A little dubious at first, hidden away behind a bar but couldn't have been more wrong. Met by Gemma who was very attentive and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Actually this was true for all of the staff, all very friendly and attentive, The bar itself also great decorated and furnished to a high standard and very clean and tidy. A one night stay whilst visiting the area on business. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. I was able ot a silly arrange a late checkout to give me time to change after my meeting before getting the train home. The room was large and well appointed, very comfortable with a huge wet room bathroom. Room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, and the room had a sea view (the hotel is right on the beach!) Hotel easy to find. As you drive up, the grounds are spectacular. The hotel was beautiful, polite staff, food fairly priced and good. Our room was cleaned & when we returned it was spotless with a beautiful fragrant. So nice. I recommend the Bannertyne hotel highly. Thank you

Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.

The staff were very friendly on check in. Room was very clean could have done with a chair. The mini fridge and breakfast basket in the room was a very pleasent surprise. Restaurant is not open most days anymore due to no chef. Pubs coffee shops and takeaways are very close to the hotel to get a meal.

Emma and Gary were lovely and it was like staying with friends.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay and will be recommending to anyone who is thinking of a trip to St Leonard’s. The bnb is decorated beautifully - the level of attention to detail is superb all of which is curated outstandingly. The service was excellent and our host was super helpful with local information. Our room and all amenities provided were of an excellent standard which ensured that our stay was wonderful.

The Bay Lodge was exactly what I hoped for - very reasonably priced, no frills accommodation, a friendly family-oriented atmosphere, (being a small concern allows for a much more personalised service), and good quality breakfast with more than adequate options available - all in all the perfect launchpad for my week in Eastbourne.
