When is the best time to go to Nieuw Nederland?

The best time to visit Nieuw Nederland is during the dry season, which runs from February to June. During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny weather with very little rain, making it ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. The temperatures are pleasantly warm, typically around 28-30°C, and there's a refreshing breeze from the trade winds. This period avoids the hurricane season and the heavier rainfall that can occur in the latter half of the year. This is particularly good for families looking for a beach holiday, as the calm waters and clear skies make for great swimming and snorkelling conditions.

Majestic City Suites & Beach Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very helpful staff"

Courtyard by Marriott Curacao

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is ideally located, just a 7-minute walk from Brion City in downtown Curaçao. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our only issue was that we were not adequately informed about the hotel’s technology for the Do Not Disturb function and housekeeping requests. As we did not have a bellman to assist us upon arrival, we were unsure about the location and operation of the light switches. Unfortunately, we inadvertently activated the Do Not Disturb feature and, as a result, our room was not serviced for two days. A brief explanation of the room’s technology and housekeeping procedures upon check-in would have been very helpful and would have prevented this misunderstanding. Overall, however, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality of the staff."

Curacao Marriott Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Outstanding stay at the Curaçao Marriott! The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. Divine at the front desk welcomed us with a glass of champagne. A special thank you to Nrick and Joshua, our wonderful servers at Salty Iguanas on the beach, and to Angel and Rizal, who served us at JFK with warm, attentive service. Their hospitality made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!"

Zoetry Curaçao Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"A beautiful, intimate adults-only resort that feels like a peaceful private escape. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and the staff was warm, attentive, and very accommodating throughout our stay. It’s the perfect place to unwind and truly disconnect. My only suggestion would be to offer more variety and switch up the food options throughout the stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway."
