"We loved our stay at this villa. We had 14 people and were perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. It's very nice that each room has its own bathroom. The villa was immaculately clean when we arrived. We spent most of our time outside and in the beautiful pool when we weren't at the beach. Keeping the upstairs living area doors open and fans on kept us cool. We didn't need air-conditioning other than in the rooms for sleeping. The location was great - we could walk to Jan Thiel beach, shops, restaurants and the grocery store. This was the ideal spot for our families to gather for vacation!"

"Our Trip to Curaçao was absolutely amazing. Staying at Villa Vista provided us a perfect location to call home base. We walked to Jan Thiel beach everyday. We were able to purchase flippers for our week of snorkeling (you can rent there as well). The short one block walk was easy. We loved the little Van den Tweel Supermarket, where we got fresh croissants and breads on several mornings. We ate dinner at Zest, Mojito's & Bites, and Zanzibar. We did rent a car for the week, which we highly recommend. With the car we were able to visit so many different beaches on the island as well as do a day in Willemstad. Villa Vista provided a nice set up with the upstairs having an apartment set up just like the first floor. I will say that while the bedrooms do have air conditioning, the main part of the house does not. But, I believe that most houses on the island are set up this way. It did take me a day for my body to acclimate to this. Once you get used to it, and open all the doors and windows allowing the Caribbean breeze to blow through, it's actually quite nice. I would recommend packing some bug spray, though. We had 2 lovely dinners at the house. Both times eating upstairs on the balcony. The privacy that Villa Vista provided helped us create some amazing memories for my family. I have a 16 yr old and a 14 year old. The pool was fabulous. Always cool and refreshing. It was such a pleasure to visit Curaçao, and stay at Villa Vista. We hope to return someday!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is safe and better than I had expected. I had an amazing time here. I’d recommend making reservations for the restaurants somewhat early if you’d like a good spot to eat. Note that the complementary shuttle bus time is off as they did arrive 45 mins later than expected but that has nothing to do with the resort. Nice amount of shops around the resort. Would stay again!"
