The resort is very cute. The property and rooms are clean. The beds were comfy. The staff was very accommodating, helpful and generous with their time. The manager even drove us into town and picked us up because taxi costs were adding up. The resort was quiet, despite being fully booked.

My family and I had a really nice stay at Merakii. The staff greeted us warmly when we arrived and showed us around the property, explaining how things worked. The wristbands were really useful for entering the hotel and our rooms. The pool is beautiful and the bartender was so friendly. It was a great deal for the money; highly recommend

This was an awesome little hotel! Beautiful and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice location if staying in the Willemstad area and a great view. Pool area and rooms were great. Everything you need for an extended stay in the rooms. We loved it and would definitely come back

The property photographs well with its bright colored buildings and “instagrammable” moments such as cute murals and a floral wall. The rooms are clean and basic with new bathrooms and a microwave and small fridge. The pool is large but would benefit from handrails as the access is underwater stairs. The tile in the pool area is slippery. The location is in the middle of a neighborhood so there is nothing to walk to. This is fine if you have a car but leaves you feeling stranded if you must take a $20+ taxi ride everywhere. The staff more than makes up for the property’s deficiencies. They are super friendly and learn your name. They were helpful in connecting us with a wonderful cab driver. They make the Merakaii.

Merakii is a gem. If you have the chance to stay here don’t pass it up. Adrienne was wonderful and the property is paradise. We enjoyed the modern clean room, the super comfortable beds and the bar at the pool. Everything was a short taxi ride away. We can’t wait to come back!

We decided to spend a few days in Curacao almost as an afterthought. We're very glad we did! Similarly, it was just luck of the draw that found us staying at Merakii Seaview Escape. We're really, really glad that we did! Without a doubt it was the people that made our stay there wonderful. The staff (and resident owners) made us feel like family and couldn't do enough for us. For example, we showed up very early (and tired) and we were looking for someplace to have breakfast. The manager, Adrienne, personally drove us in her own vehicle to a place she recommended. Similarly, she made all of the arrangements for our anniversary evening out (calling her friends to get the latest reviews of different restaurants) and even had a bottle of chilled wine and fruit waiting for us in our room when we returned. She also made the arrangements for our vehicle rental which went seamlessly. This same "can do" attitude extended to the staff. Our favorite (and very creative) poolside bartender bumped into us when we were shopping at a local market and even though it was his day off, he jumped right into helping us decide what we might want to pick up, and might want to avoid (because it was not as fresh as he thought it should be). Even hanging out around the pool with the owners and their family - and a very cute granddaughter - felt like a wonderfully catered family gathering. We're looking forward to booking our next vacation there and building our passion for scuba diving into our stay.

The facility was beautiful, veey quaint and colorful. The pool was very nice with a poolside bar. Cleanliness was outstanding. The kitchenette area was so convenient and well equipped. We only stayed one night as the distance to the beach and restaurants was about a ten minute drive which did not work for our group. The staff at the resort were top notch, so accomodating and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. You could not find better staff anywhere. Oh and the beds were super comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

During our stay Derrick was able to make sure we had everything we needed while at the bar area and gave us great information about what activities to do locally. We really enjoyed our stay at Merakii. The pool was nice. Bartenders were great. Clean and quiet place. We didn’t see many workers around to get assistance if needed. Our door was stuck shut which was but a huge deal but we would have asked for help if we saw workers around (we could have been a little more forward with this but it wasn’t a huge deal to us). I would recommend putting a broom and dustpan in the apartment. We did ask for one at the end to clean up some of our sand. We were a little late for check in and therefore forgot about the pool and other amenities like laundry. We could have asked for more details or gotten more information once we arrived. Security guards were all friendly as was any staff we did come in counter with. Thank you for a great stay in Curaçao!
