A traditional local home run by mother and son. They were very welcoming and gave us freshly squeezed orange juice and home made biscuits on arrival. The restaurant, La Coccinella, they suggested for our evening meal was a short drive away and delightful.

Wonderful house, new to guests.
A beautiful, large house that was close to Etna. Hosts were very accommodating with fresh juice though with limited English. Seems new to the guest experience and the check in process was not quite automatic. Solid home stay experience in a rural setting.

Het ontvangst is hartelijk en familiaal.
Het ontvangst is hartelijk, je krijg een familiale gevoel bij. Villa Caterina is gelegen in de mooi buurt van Etna vulkaan. Onze kamer had een ruime balkon met uitzicht op het Etna. Dat was fijn. Het kamer is ruim genoeg met "queen-size" bed. Het toestand van hotel is een beetje veroud, maar het valt mee. Het ontbijt was voor ons vriendelijk gemaakt door de huisvrouw, dat was een omelet. We krijgen mozzarella, ham, brood, koekjes, thee, koffie, versgeperste fruitsap, verse fruit. In de buurt heb je Etna, een aantaal mooi badplaatsen, autentieke eetcafes en siciliaanse pizzerias. Niet zo ver van hotel is ook een bekende plaats als Savoca waar de film "The Godfather" werd deels geschoten. Gezien prijs kwalitei verhouding zou ik naar Villa Caterina terug komen als ik in Sicilie ben.

Super séjour . Très bon accueil. Nous avons même goûté la cuisine locale et aussi de la grappa. Des fruits locaux . Que des bonne choses . Des conseils pour des visites locales.
