Lovely little place. Very quite also. Wish the pub was open for drinks at any time but but not your typical pub. Food there was lovely though! Especially the sea bass. Walk in shower was amazing! Great if you need an accessible rooms

Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Very friendly staff, nice big room (called falow), excellent breakfast, excellent evening meal staff very helpful sorting out a taxi for us, the room was warm due to heatwave so needed to keep windows open so we did notice some noise from the kitchen fans but this could not be helped. Very good car parking. Overall an excellent 2 day visit and would highly recommend.

We had a really enjoyable stay! The hotel staff went over and above to help us and give great service. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Rooms were clean, huge bathrooms and seriously comfy beds.

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. Excellent accomodation and menu!

Lovely hotel. Food was fine. Only negative was train line in the rear of the building. Bedrooms are too close and a bit noisy early doors. Ask for a front facing bedroom.

It wasn't easy to find - thank goodness for the satnav! - but it was certainly worth finding. Set in tranquil countryside with not a street light in sight, this hotel is a haven from the frantic world. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, the room was of a high standard and the breakfast was as close to perfect as it could have been. we were served tea and coffee in the comfortable lounge on arrival, given fresh milk to replace the uht pots on the hospitality tray and were made to feel...

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless. Room was lovely though

Second visit to Thurnham Hall and it was not a let down. The greeting when you arrive is second to none. The hall itself is beautiful and the studio room was perfect for the two of us. If you are looking for a busy adventurous holiday this is probably not the hotel for you but it is well located for exploring Lancaster and Cumbria. Our visit to Homestead was outstanding in every way. From arrival to departure, we could not have had better service and attention. The house is unique and full of history and has been loving restored to the highest of standards. Could not recommend it more!!
