"A repeat visit for us. The hot spring is excellent (even though the main indoor pool was a hotter than the super-nice temperature on previous occasions), breakfast is good, rooms are comfortable (although aircon was not working well this time and one had to sleep with open windows, it was reasonably quiet), convenient parking nearby"
"The barman Gaba was on his own on Sunday night. He took the meal and drinks orders, he delivered the drinks and the meals. If anyone was at reception he would deal with them. All this was done with a smile. He also made sure all the guests were spoken to and he had a lovely,lively laugh. He and the rest of the staff made our stay superb. We will go there again. "
"This was our second trip to the lion at Belpur, and though we couldn’t have the bigger room this time, the room we had was still adequate for what we wanted. Always good friendly staff, who are more than willing to help.
The pub is located in a good area, close to shops and high street, and the mills and gardens. Fantastic time which is why we returned. "
