Like many areas of New Orleans, the neighborhood is undergoing some renovations just like this house did. Some homes have been completely restored and others are awaiting their salvation! While some spots in the area may look a little rough, we've never experienced any safety issues here and our neighbors are wonderful people!

New Orleans has a particular magic in the fall - the heat breaks, the festival calendar shifts into full gear, and evenings carry just enough cool air to make a fire pit feel like the only sensible place to be. This Victorian shotgun duplex channels that season without effort, offering a home whose character comes from the architecture itself: rooms flowing front to back in the classic New Orleans style, dressed in modern décor and warm, considered interiors that make arriving feel like the start of something good. Whether you’re here for a Saints game, a festival weekend, or simply a few days absorbing the pace of life this city does so well, there’s a proper base waiting for you each evening.

The home
The shotgun layout - each room opening directly into the next - is a signature of New Orleans residential design, and this home wears it comfortably. A sound system fills the space from the moment you step inside, a ceiling fan keeps the air moving through the house, and room-darkening shades take care of the morning light when an extra hour of sleep is in order. The home is entirely single-level, with no stairs throughout.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms provide a quiet retreat from the energy outside, each made up with beds and fresh linens, with extra pillows and blankets on hand. The single bathroom is well-supplied with a bathtub, hair dryer, hot water, and a full set of toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, and body soap - ready for your arrival.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for whatever the day calls for, from a morning coffee to a proper dinner in. A stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher handle the practical side, while cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and a coffee maker stocked with coffee take care of the rest. A dining table makes it easy to eat as a group, and Trader Joe’s is just a few blocks away for stocking up.

Outdoor space
The patio and fenced backyard give you a private outdoor retreat that’s a genuine rarity in a city neighborhood. Pull up an Adirondack chair around the fire pit, fire up the BBQ, or keep drinks chilled in the outdoor cooler - whether the evening calls for quiet or company, the space handles both.

Comfort & convenience
Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan keep the home comfortable through any shift in the weather. A washer and dryer handle laundry in-house, an iron is on hand when needed, and a TV is available for slower evenings. Free street parking is available outside, a private entrance keeps arrivals easy, and self check-in via smart lock means you arrive on your own schedule. Pets are welcome.

The Superdome and French Quarter are both within easy reach, putting Saints games, live music, and the city’s year-round lineup of festivals squarely within your reach for the length of your stay.
