Red Streetcars travel along Canal Blvd. from the Mississippi River out to City Park. The streetcars are cash only, unless you buy a pass. The Hop on Hop off tour buses circulate around some of the more popular areas of downtown and offer pickup every 30 minutes. The Algiers Ferry is a fun way to get across the river. The location was absolutely fantastic, close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything for a comfortable visit. The condo was lovely, and we had everything we needed.She was always available to answer any questions we asked. They had someone to come out the next day to fix our TV.
