Extra touches like local snacks and premium bedding gave it a special feel. The only negative is that there is a bar about a block away that played very loud music until about midnight, loud enough to cut through earplugs and a pillow over the head. I don't know if this was just a Halloween thing or normal for weekends. Otherwise, the location is a great value - only 3 blocks from the Charles St. Trolley and the Garden District. We were woken up by a couple arguing loudly on the street at 5 am, right outside the property. Additionally, on a Saturday night, a neighbor played very loud music until 3 am. Like any place, there are tradeoffs. If you're willing to embrace the quirks of the neighborhood, this vrbo offers a nice place to stay within walking distance of various activities.
