Just 5 minutes east of Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, 10 minutes from the French Quarter and easy access to all nearby attractions. The home is fully furnished and decorated with curated antiques and art, along with top of the line equipment and modern luxuries. Your plush down comforters and memory foam pillows will ensure a good night’s sleep, leaving you rejuvenated and ready to explore all what New Orleans has to offer. The house itself has no big problems, it’s just me, coming over new year celebration time, I overestimated my tolerance to noise, so if you’re a light sleeper like me, probably not a good choice. What amazed me was how flexible and adaptable this team is. Some of them were on vacation too, but they worked hard to make my last minute request come true so we transferred seamlessly. All I can say is if you’re booking any of their properties, you know you’re in good hands. The steep fire escape steps to get into the rental felt treacherous in the rain and would be really difficult for kids and for people with mobility challenges. The biggest problem with the place is that this unit has noisy neighbors. It is in a four plex building and the neighbors below and to the side played loud music and were loud. On the flip side, cleaners need to do a better job as we found small things missed when we checked in. Also lots of little things were broken like the trash can, no remote for the TV etc. Nothing too crazy but not what I expect from somewhere I am paying to stay. The owner offered to have the landlord come and fix them while we were there and it wasnt necessary; I just cleaned up what i noticed. Neighborhood was definitely a concern to my kids and parking was confusing because the whole front of the building said handicapped parking. I asked twice for someone to clarify if we could park there and I only got an automated message from the host instead of an actual answer. We saw someone who lived on that block on the second day said we could park there and it didn't matter.Would not recommend for a family due to neighbors being loud late into the night (past 4am) and there are a LOT of stairs.
