Excellent. Thats all I can say really. The management & staff went above & beyond to help. Nothing was too much. They were friendly & we felt like 'part of the family'. The room (room 8) is quite well known locally as with its neighbour (no7) for it's mezzanine bathroom. It is open with no door so maybe a little off-putting for some but we soon got used to it. The food was varied & available in either the restaurant or bar. The bar was excellent & held a huge amount of gins for the gin-lovers....

I would thoroughly recommend Wroxton House. Beautiful old Cotswold stone building with sympathetic modern wing. Ample free parking. A warm and friendly welcome from all the staff, not just those on reception. Room was modern and included everything you could need. Very comfortable large bed. Spotlessly clean, modern bathroom - with a bath which I enjoyed immensely! I chose to dine in the hotel and enjoyed an excellent 3 course meal with wine. Breakfast next morning offered a wide choice....

Excellent service and cleanliness, safety and parking. Caroline went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Very friendly, courteous and organised. Large room, big bed, safe and enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lion. Location to Bicester was perfect. Room was exactly what we booked . Dinner was excellent … that burger was first class & the crumble was awesome. Class venue .

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation. Would highly recommend

Nestled in the village of Hook Norton this was an absolutely lovely inn to stay in. The family room is actually two rooms, one with two single beds and the other with a large double bed. Ensuite was small but had everything you need. We arrived around 2pm and decided to stay at the inn for lunch rather than go into Banbury. We were glad we did as the food was very good, plus there were six different ales on offer that had been brewed in the village. There was an option to try each one without...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sun Inn, staff were very pleasant and friendly they couldn't do enough to help, food was first class everything was cooked fresh on order, hotel was very clean and tidy. would definitely stay there again if we go down that way again.

The bar is like how a proper village pub should be, with good local beers too.

Stayed for just one night, but was given an upgrade. Our room, 15, was very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Had everything in it you would need. The breakfast was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Checked in during early evening service in the pub, yet I was shown immediately to my room, unless I wanted a local beer first. Room was a good size for an overnight stay, clean, pretty much exactly as I saw in the photographs online. Food in the pub was a very high standard, both at dinner and the following breakfast. There is nothing else in this village, but for an overnight stay in the area I expect this is one of the best places to stay. The owner has a genuine interest in running a great...
