"We arrived early. The staff let us know the only rooms available early were on the Mezzanine and they aren't really great for longer stays. So that was good information. We were staying for 4 nights, so it was not recommended. So we checked our luggage and came back at 3pm for the regular check-in time. The lady at the counter told us she'd check in with housekeeping. She asked us to take a seat and she'd let us know when the room was ready. We sat down in the lounge. We watched as time went by. Many other parties came by and got room keys and went up the elevator. The lady we talked to eventually disappeared. I'm guessing her shift ended. I approached the desk and informed them that we were waiting for 45 minutes at least. After some confusion (an no apology for us waiting), he issued us a key for a Mezzanine room. I informed him that we were told by the Hilton staff that Mezzanine rooms were not great for longer stays. The whole reason we waited was to get a better room. No apologies at all again. He plugged away at the computer and gave us a room on the 1st floor (above the Mezzanine). I don't know why the Mezzanine sucks so much, but they their own account, it's not the place to be for a longer stay. It's kind of disappointing in the end they would try and place us there."

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It seems to be tucked away yet it's less than a 5 minute walk to Grafton street and Stephen's Green which was awesome. there is a restaurant and coffee/beer cart in the lobby which was convenient. I had zero interaction with the staff other than to validate parking. There are kiosks to check in and check out so you may never actually speak to a single worker. If you are the kind that likes more of a human touch just know that. We enjoyed our stay and the size of the room was huge from our experience in getting a family room in Europe. However, the pull out sofa bed which is the second bed was HORRENDOUS. no one could sleep on it. it appeared broken, bowed int he middle and was basically a pad laying on metal poles. Unfortunate since the actual bed was amazing."
