We are essentially a small resort. This home has so many amenities - two hot tubs, two swimming pools-one indoor, heated and one outdoor, a large arcade room with 20+ games, two outdoor firepits-with firewood, large commercial putt putt area, sand volleyball court, large commercial Little Tikes children’s play area with slides and a McDonald’s Playland Tower, an outdoor movie theater and much more. Guests have expressed that they did not have to leave the property because there was so much to do Events, however, are not allowed according to Airbnb's policy (8/2020). Our home is located in a quiet subdivision with large lots. There is not through access, so traffic in this subdivision is minimal with just people who live here or are visiting. Great neighborhood for taking a walk or jog. The descriptions of the property are spot-on, so I won’t reiterate them here. The arcade is a blast! And the pools and hot tubs were a hit with our family. There is definitely something for everyone and for all ages – if you are bored during your stay, it is your own fault! The hosts are very responsive, accessible and helpful. They have filled the home with many thoughtful, hospitable details … abundant number of towels; black make-up washcloths; two (2) types of coffee makers; well-stocked variety of k-cups and creamers in the kitchen; comfy beds, and no annoying checkout to-do list! The property is in need of a lot of maintenance, though. The kids could not use the play yard. It did not look anything like the pictures. It had exposed nails, broken boards, the sand underneath was full of weeds and animal droppings and the slide was dirty and weathered. The bikes were rusted and in poor condition. The putting green was full of sticks and stones and was not maintained. Our biggest disappointment was the indoor pool. It is kept at 82 degrees, but since their humidity control is not working, half the windows had to be left open to avoid condensation on the ceiling. Thus, the water cooled very quickly overnight and it was quite cool in there while swimming. They did raise it to 84 for us, but the air temperature did not allow the kids to stay in long. The game room is a big plus and the kids had a great time playing the variety of games. Lastly, be aware that the downstairs exercise equipment/bedroom/living area that are displayed in the pictures, are not included in the listed VRBO price. Great host, lots of amenities, but the property is run down. ##### Patty C. The big draws were the arcade and indoor pool and as expected these were the big hits upon arrival. We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the basketball hoop and the 2 hot tubs. We needed a place to get away for spring break and this worked. The house itself is small, but that was okay. The location isn't really the kind where we felt like we could go out for a run and explore (there is a plaza with a Wal Mart/Taco Bell minutes away), but it was okay. My five grandchildren range in age from 16 - 8, and all of them had plenty to do. It rained on and off during our stay, but the kids would just move from the outdoor pool to the indoor pool when necessary. My 8 year old grandson really loved the arcade room. Where else can you find an indoor, heated pool, hot tub and a full arcade with modern accessories? I’ve done national searches so not really any. Had family vacation with four adults and three kids ages 7-12\. The adults enjoyed the games probably more than kids! A unique outdoor seating area with fire pit with endless supply of cut wood left plenty of experiences for everyone. Not to mention the hammocks, corn hole, basketball goals, ping pong and bicycles for use. We didn’t even get to the wall of board games in the home. The king size beds in each room were a perk as well as each room having own tv. WiFi worked great and three full bathrooms never kept anyone waiting. Very comfortable and cozy. It’s a touch of being in the country while only being minutes from Walmart and gas stations. Spied about 15 deer one evening The owner lives on the property but we never saw or heard from him until I needed help with the gas grill and was quick with a propane tank within 20 minutes! I’ve stayed in a lot of properties and this was the ONLY one that didn’t give a clean up punch list! Overall I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The price tag is bit high than other places but all the extras make it worthwhile! We stayed for over 3 days and didn’t hear “I’m bored” from anyone 😄. Will be back someday definitely ##### daniel I. The house was great for our family vacation, but dealing with the owners was very frustrating. Positives: Lots to do at the house which is mostly as advertised. There is an indoor pool which is bigger than the pictures make it look. There is a great arcade, but some of the games are broken. There are a ton of sleeping accommodations and the bathrooms are nice. Negatives: The owners don't know how to run a professional rental business. It was a disaster. They showed up to clean the place the day before we were checking out because they wanted us to pay outside of VRBO for one night. The owner called to apologize when they realized it was their mistake. They never sent us any welcome information or door code until we texted them the night prior to check in. The door code didn't work when we checked in. I will note that we checked in early. After asking for early check in a month and a half in advance, they were still doing work around the house until 4pm when we were the first people staying in over a month and a half. The nicer washer/dryer downstairs wasn't even hooked up. The owners basically live in the house when it's not rented. When they have renters, they stay in a huge RV that is almost touching the house. It is literally right outside your bedroom window. If you want privacy, don't stay here! The house is split level so it is not a typical upstairs and not how it sounds in the listing. We weren't able to use the hot tub the first night because it was too chlorinated and burned our eyes and skin. Then, the owners were over trying to fix it for a long time while we were home (after we had been gone from the house for 5 hours). It is not in an upscale area, but there are a lot of big box stores. FYI - The traffic going into Nashville was pretty bad each time we went so while the house is 25 minutes away, it may take a lot longer to get downtown. Basic things you would expect aren’t provided…there are no wine glasses, no scissors, no salt and pepper, no cooking spray. For karaoke, we could only find one CD. Popcorn Kernels are not provided for the Popcorn Machine. Beware that all the beds are very high so if you have older people, it might be tough. ##### Steve P. The house is great and the game room was awesome. You just have to watch out for the electrical loads so you don’t trip a breaker. I would recommend this place for families or large groups. After seeing Amy G's review, I reached out to Kathy as I had strong concerns because the main reason we were going was because of the pool and arcade games. Kathy was very kind (like Amy said), explained that they had never had concerns like this before in regard to the pool / games but, admitted again that 5 weren't working but, they were going to try to get somebody in to fix those games and make sure the pool was close to the mid 80s in temperature. At arrival, we found out the games hadn't been fixed (Kathy did have a family issue but, I really don't think the games were ever going to be fixed). Also, as we started playing we learned just because a game turns on doesn't mean it works. Note most of these games are 30+ years old with quirks (meaning they by and large do not work well). The skee-ball game didn't keep score half the time, the b-ball game sometimes worked, the air hockey game didn't have a lot of air pressure, 1 of the HydroThunder games went on the blink half the time, etc. These games did not work at all: Sports Shooting, Target Force, 1 Sega Super GT, Arcade Legends, Boxing game, Big Buck and Deer Hunting USA. The Deal or No Deal was really just a waste of space as the only purpose was to win tickets which, wasn't going to happen in a residential setting. There is no direct access from the house to the pool so, when it is 35 degrees outside, it is "chilly" making that transition back / forth. The actual pool was not as bad as Amy suggested and we were allowed to close a few windows to help make it comfortable but, at no time were we able to stay in the pool for more than an hour which was disappointing. Kathy said it was set to 84 degrees but, that doesn't mean it ever got to 84 degrees. I think Kathy is an attorney or in the legal field because, you have to be careful on her answers! I feel bad that they spent a lot of money apparently to fix the pool mechanical system but, it still doesn't work. The karaoke machine wasn't hooked up, Kathy offered to come over to fix it but, at this price point, things should be checked out in between guests. Also, it should be noted the hosts are "on property" in a mobile home and sometimes in the non-rented part of the house. This was a bit different to me (and we did hear them from time to time). The bedrooms, bathrooms and TVs were all great. If like the 2/14 review you want a relaxing time, give it a try. Don't go for the swimming in the Winter or the games! ##### kenneth b.
