"Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Seoul Myeongdong is a fantastic choice if you want to stay in the heart of downtown Seoul. The lobby is located on the 21st floor, and my room was on the 18th floor with a wonderful view. They also provide a great selection of room amenities. The only minor downside is that taxis cannot pick you up or drop you off directly in front of the hotel, as it’s located in a pedestrian-only zone where cars aren't allowed from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. However, that’s also a huge plus—you’re just a few steps away from all the energy and excitement of Myeongdong without any traffic noise!"

"We stayed here for an entire week and it was perfect. The rooms had everything we needed, including a washer and a drying rack, which was amazing! The location is ideal and close to major subway lines and within walking distance of popular areas. It was easy to navigate, clean and comfortable to stay in for a long period of time! Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"This hotel was in a great location in Myeongdong. Great location for shopping go and for the subway system and transiting around Seoul. The room was a good size. 2 large bags just* fit. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping was always so helpful and kind which we appreciated. We were greeted with lovely hellos each morning. The downsides to this property is that there was no real communal lobby to sit in. We stayed here with friends and the rooms were too small to meet in and there was no table in the lobby to chat and relax. Out in room guide said there was a rooftop garden but we couldn’t find it. When we asked staff they advised they didn’t have one anymore. It also does have a self service laundry but it is extremely overpriced. We did laundry close by which was 1/3 of the price. This should be looked at because it would impact my stay in the future (if comparing against another hotel with more affordable amenities). Overall are we happy we stayed- yes! The location was great but I also would be okay looking at other options in the future."
