We arrived early in the morning after an overnight train with a sick traveler. Our room wasn’t ready but they let our sick traveler rest for the day in one of their basic rooms reserved for sick travelers. The location is just what we wanted, in a quieter part of town that’s easily walkable to the more crowded areas. We found a great coffee bar just down the street as well as a local grocery store to get supplies and a selection of lovely candies and treats. Sapa is so humid that it was hard to dry anything in the wet bathroom, but the room was spotless and the front desk spoke great English. They were very helpful and understanding throughout our stay. The breakfast was fabulous and the buffet room was sunny and bright. For the price range of this hotel, it was a great value. First off, the property is top tier. Every nook and cranny is interesting (sometimes creepy) but very on theme and lovely to look at. The room had a nice size, big comfy bed, and lovely bathroom with all the amenities. Location is outstanding. Right in the middle of the town so you had easy access to all the coffee shops, restaurants and public transportation. This includes the funicular up to Fansipan! And the hotel offers a fast pass service for guests (for a fee). The food? Insane! The breakfast buffet had everything you could ever want AND they do change it up slightly after a few days. The highlight of this property for me was the pool and the gym. Prob the best pool I’ve ever swam in, in my life. Just so architecturally beautiful. And the service? Exceptional! Every single staff that I’ve encountered was nice and helpful. Overall really happy with my stay here and would consider going back (if only the trek up to the city didn’t take so long).
