Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Monument

Bit run down. Breakfast was apparently €15 each per day - no thanks. Staff obviously looking forward to end of season. Nice location once you worked out that the back entrance cut out 100 stairs. It was okay.

I booked a large sea view room for six nights. The harbour view was spectacular and the staff engaging and very helpful. Just a heads up, because the hotel is right on the Harbour, the water pressure is very low and flushing toilet paper is not permitted, but water pressure in the shower was great. The location is ideal and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. There is a popular coffee house on the ground floor, as I stayed in late October the hub bub from the street was not too loud [and I'm a light sleeper] this could be different during peak season. However, the sliding glass doors open fully, turning the entire room into a balcony from which to watch the sunrise/sunset and the activity in the Harbour below. I have visited the Turkish Mediterranean three times in the last two years, stayed in seven or so hotel and this is in my top two. Would whole-heartedly recommend!!
