Marmaris, Fethiye and the region around the two towns boasts a wide variety of attractions. In Marmaris, the town’s castle, Old Town and historic bazaar are great places for sightseeing, while Fethiye is home to the 4th century BC Tomb of Amyntas and houses a number of artefacts from its ancient past in The Fethiye Museum. Just outside of Fethiye you’ll find the ruined Lycian citadel of Tlos. Perched on top of a prominent hill, parts of the ruins are thought to date back 4,000 years.
