This is the type of place where everybody waves at you, which is a pleasant change from our home in the northeast. Driveway was a bit long but not an issue as others have said. We had a great stay, and would highly recommend. Mark was great, and handled an unexpected problem quickly. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for 7 adults to cook all of our meals. There was an incredible amount of deer and turkey in the community, which made the drive up to the cabin interesting. Our GPS took us up on top of the mountain, which had a difficult turn or two, but we found a much better way in on a lower road. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. It is well equipped with all the essentials and remarkably clean. Everyone commented that their beds were comfortable and they slept well. We cooked all of our meals, including Thanksgiving and had everything we needed. Lots of space in all of the rooms. Loved the wrap around porch area too. It is very peaceful up there. The neighborhood is lovely with safe, paved asphalt road for the inclines. The property has nice furnishings. There are multiple comfortable seating areas with a tree/mountain view for conversation, reading or solitude. I especially loved the upstairs loft. Beautiful wood walls and floors. Specifically, there were a lot of light bulbs out, underwear found under a couch cushion and the requested duties to do before checkout were a bit excessive ( make the beds?) Also , when asked if the cabin was motorcycle accessible I was told the “community is gated and paved” but nothing was said about the tight hairpin curves !
