"This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. I stayed here for 5 nights and was very comfortable. The bed was quite firm, which I like, and I slept very well. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was good. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in a small alcove with crockery and cutlery. The tv was mounted high up on the wall. The free wifi worked really well. There was covered space to sit outside and I could access my room from the outside as well as from an internal hallway. There was a dehumidfier in the room...

If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP.

We stayed here in Sept 2014 during a bit of a heatwave. The drive from Hilo is well signposted and the directions from the Inn's website were excellent. We stayed in the Hibiscus room in Harmony House. We had a fantastic view of the waterfall from our very comfortable, clean accommodation. The walk down to the waterfall was fine as it had been quite dry.
