The location is perfect, right between Volcano National Park and Hilo. The grounds are amazing and the frogs sang us to sleep every night. The screened in porch is wonderful for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The house is well maintained and very clean. Highly recommend. ##### Jennifer G. We loved how the lodge was in a secluded area surrounded by lush green plants! The place was spacious providing empty space to keep luggage. We also loved how she provided water so we wouldn't get dehydrated. The lodge was clean although we would have liked it if the couches were less dusty and cleaner. The jungle is alive with its own vibes. Chicken's, frogs and occasional domesticated barks. Perfect for sampling this side of the island. Kilauea was flowing and less than 30 minutes away. The kitchen was great, I found everything I needed. The beds were big and comfortable, plenty of blankets for cool evenings in the rain forest. The cute little electric fire place was adorable and the family sat around it. Everything was so clean and welcoming.
