Absolutely wonderful place to stay … hidden gem with wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay here again. Phenomenal breakfast. Don’t miss a walk around the property. The garden with custom art decor is really cool and we watched salmon spawning.

Wonderful! Gorgeous building in secluded, serene location with great decor. Rooms were very large, plenty of space and well furnished.Outdoor spaces on various decks. Balconies in rooms overlooking surrounding mountains and property. Whimsical trails around the property with artwork. Excellent care by family, inventive tasty breakfast, and full kitchen use. We loved it!

Jeff & Rose were the sweetest hosts!! The inn and rooms are so beautiful, each with their own balcony and stunning views of the scenery! We went snow shoeing to Tern Lake and it was breathtaking. We will absolutely be back to visit again, the inn far exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful Alaskan Stay. We were more than happy with our stay here for our two nights in Alaska. The host were very nice...the gourmet breakfasts both mornings were excellent. We loved having a large room overlooking a stream and the mountains. It is convenient between Anchorage and Seward. If you are looking for a very clean B&B that gives you all the feels of Alaska, this is the place. It is a great place to stay if going to Kenai Fjord or Seward.

One of the most wonderful, comfortable, serene, and just amazing stays I’ve had the opportunity of experiencing. This beautiful Inn is the perfect spot to either just relax in or to come back to after a day or exploring the surrounding areas. A hidden gem for sure!

Inn at Tern Lake is a stunningly beautiful lodge at the base of mountains and overlooking Tern Lake. From our huge bedroom's balcony we could watch and listen to the meandering creek and see snow capped mountains in all directions. Rock walking paths course the property with displays of flower planters, benches and creeks. There's a deck that spans the rear of the lodge and steps down to the shallow Term Lake. Grills are available for guests. Hot Breakfast of omelets, bacon, fruit and delicious, warm muffins, coffee, juice and yogurt. The staff is so welcoming from the moment we arrived until we departed. I highly recommend The Inn At Tern Lake when staying in the Kenai area.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful property in late May. Our room was comfortable and spacious and had a wonderful balcony that looked out onto the lakes and mountains. Breakfast was served fresh in the morning in a large dining area and was very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and had good advice for the local area as well as future places to travel in Alaska. Was a very restful and beautiful location and we would love to stay here again in the future.

The family at the Inn at Tern Lake was very nice, personable and helpful. Breakfast was great--different every morning and Teal gave us some great suggestions for sightseeing and fishing. Our room was spacious and clean--very comfortable.

One of the best places I've ever stayed! Rose and Jeff are great people who've created authentic environment for their guests. Their home has amazing interior and truly feels like a home away from home. If you are looking for a place to stay around Moose Pass or even Seward, don't look any further!

This inn is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting away from the crowds but still close to Seward in the Kensington forest. It is family owned and their care comes through. Highly recommended. Watch for the sign carefully!

The home was wonderful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is almost out of this world, and the views magnificent. This was an altogether wonderful experience. We had four, and stayed in the big bedroom and it was wonderful. I actually slept on the fold out sofa and it was the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. Breakfast was great, too.

Beautiful BB, friendly owner/operator, excellent facility, facility and rooms as represented, spacious, clean, very nicely appointed, peaceful and quiet. and beautiful setting. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back. Highly recommend to family and friends. I would rate this BB as a 10 of 10. Reasonable price. Recommend Only comment is signage. This is located at mile 36 (closer to 36.5) the road signage is small and easy to miss. The INN is not visible from the road. 35 minute drive to Seward, which we did as a day trip. Other guests went to Kenai river, longer drive.

We have reduced the size of our signage as we have found in the past that we get too many stray travelers that disrupt the serenity of the the Inn. We try to balance that concern with the inconvenience to our guests.

Amazing getaway. Breathtaking scenery. Stunning house and grounds. Feels like the middle of nowhere but still only 30 minutes from Seward. Perfect overnight trip from Anchorage for Alaskans or vacation stop for tourists. Friendly staff and delicious homemade breakfast. Will definitely go back!!!

Beautiful Property!
We were a family of 4 (two teens). The property and facilities are amazing. We had a wonderful time playing tennis, shooting hoops, practicing golf with the one hole and sand trap and boating (although it was an extremely small area to boat). Would have been nice to have more eggs at breakfast as it was buffet style and I was last and barely got any. The host was in a hurry to get back to "work" and said goodbye to all of us while we were eating and never asked how things were. I didn't get a chance to ask about more eggs. Perhaps things could have been different if Mrs was there but she was on vacation and left her husband to manage alone. Other than that things couldn't have been better. The room was very spacious and very comfortable.

I'm sorry you were shorted on your breakfast, making extra eggs would be easy. We usually use 3-4 per customer so perhaps someone took a little extra.

We were ahead of our agenda. We ask if we could cancel our reservation. The owner would not work with us. Not good PR. I would not stay there because of this.

We allow folks to cancel reservations if you book through us and give us plenty of notice .We often refund reservations when we can resell a room, however it is unfair to expect us to cancel a reservation at such late notice. We hope you had a great trip to Alaska.

They double booked us with a wedding that had booked the entire hotel. They did accommodate us with a house in Moose Pass to stay in, but not what we were looking forward to.
