My friends and I made a last minute reservation for the Safi Hotel mere days before arriving to Monterrey and we considered it the best decision we made on our entire World Cup trip. Besides the warm professionalism of the staff, the room was fantastic, we were also pleasantly surprised about the amenities in such close proximity to the hotel. Bars, restaurants, shopping, grocery, pharmacy etc were all walking distance from our room. If there is one critique I’ll give it’s the shower in our room something’s leaked water through the door that wasn’t not sealed properly but that in our opinion was not a deal breaker. I will definitely be coming back to the safi hotel again. It was amazing.

My room wasn’t ready. The staff is very nice and helpful. Our room had a lot of issues, after every shower we had to out 2 towels on floors since shower leaked everywhere. Toilet seat was broken. Ironing board was broken and could not order room service as our phone never worked or kept a charge for more than 15 seconds. All these things are easy fixes and staff had toilet and ironing board fixed the following day.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience during my stay. The first issue occurred at check-in when we were assigned the wrong room. While mistakes can happen, when we entered the room, there was already another guest lying on the bed. This was very uncomfortable and concerning. After being reassigned to a different room, I took a shower and discovered that the shower drain was clogged, causing the water to back up. I had to contact maintenance to resolve the issue. Later, I had to call maintenance again because the TV remote control batteries were dead. When the problem happened a second time, I eventually gave up trying to watch TV altogether. I was also informed that the buffet was complimentary; however, I was later presented with charges for each individual dish, which was confusing and disappointing. The only positive aspect of this stay was that both housekeeping and maintenance were very responsive and helpful whenever assistance was needed. Additionally, the air conditioning worked perfectly throughout my stay. Overall, while I appreciate the efforts of the housekeeping and maintenance staff, the multiple issues and miscommunications significantly impacted my experience.

Excellent location in San Pedro directly across the street from the Fashion Drive shopping center, which has a Soriana supermarket attached to it. Although the hotel is slightly dated, the rooms and property are very clean. I had an issue with my TV not working but the staff were able to switch my room easily, to a better room at that.
