The most wonderful and friendly hosts, the house is in a beautiful setting and we would have stayed a little longer but were compromised by the Giro d Italia passing through.

Wow what a place ! Amazing venue very clean and the staff are so helpful. Very quirky having to take 4 elevators to your room but all part of the charm. Room was spacious, clean and had everything needed, breakfast had a great selection with hot croissants. Definitely recommend

Great little self contained apartments with change of towels and bedding delivered every few days. The apartment was perfect for us as a couple. Only criticism would be that the shower was not very powerful, but everything else; kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom, storage, etc… was great. The restaurant downstairs was particularly good; family run, sensibly priced and the food was delicious. Each apartment also has their own allocated parking space round the back of the building. Clean room, helpful staff and beautiful view

Lovely hotel, really helpful staff, convenient secure parking, beautiful location. Excellent breakfast, too, including for those with special dietary requirements.

I have seen other reviewers describe this hotel as being similar to The Grand Budapest Hotel from the movie of the same name. Make no mistake, it is the hotel from its hay day, not when it was in decline. We have stayed in a lot of historic properties over the years, but the updating of this property has been fantastic. Hotel Au Soleil provided an excellent base for our skiing activities in the Aosta Valley. It was clean, comfortable, friendly and an excellent breakfast was served.
