Charming and Rustic Farmhouse

We had the opportunity to stay here and it was a lovely stay. We had a working kitchen with a nearby grocery store. The pool was a needed distraction on the warm days here. The bathroom is a little tight in space and spartan in nature but has all that is required for a stay. We loved how warm M. and his family was in welcoming ours. This time here was one of my favourite amongst my trip to Italy. We'll be back!

erholsam und ruhig

sehr freundliche und bemühte Gastgeber, ruhige und erholsame Lage ausserhalb des Touristenstromes, da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, war es sehr ruhig und wir hatten den Pool für uns alleine. Allerdings gab es in den Betten bzw der Bettwäsche Flöhe _ ACHTUNG

Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem sehr alten Landhaus inmitten von Weinstöcken außerhalb von Monteriggione. Sie ist sauber, rustikal und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Der Pool ist grandios. Supermarkt und Sehenswürdigkeiten (Monteriggioni, S. Gimignano, Siena…) sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Manfredi ist ein sehr netter, hilfsbereiter und guter Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für die angenehme Zeit.

Die Lage und das Anwesen sind traumhaft. Der Pool inmitten von Weinbergen ist perfekt - immer klares Wasser und eine herrliche Aussicht. Die Pool-Liegen sind in die Jahre gekommen und haben keine Bezüge geschweige denn Kissen. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und bleiben auch bei über 30 Grad angenehm kühl. Das kleine Bad hat eine "italienische" Dusche - keine Abtrennung, also jedes Mal Überschwemmung. Die Küchenausstattung ist eher minimalistisch. Die Terrasse ist genial! Alles zum Wohlfühlen!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in einem gepflegten Grundstück mit sehr schönem Pool in Nähe zu Siena

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt, die Einrichtung und Küchenausstattung teilweise etwas spartanisch, aber völlig ausreichend. Die Lage etwas außerhalb von Monterigioni ist ruhig, die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra etc. sind mit dem Auto in 30 -50 min erreichbar. Zu Fuß kann man nach Monterigioni, für weitere Strecken oder Radtouren war es für uns allerdings Ende Juni mit >35°C zu warm. Der Vermieter war bei kleinen Mängeln (defekter Liegestuhl...) sofort um Abhilfe bemüht. Der Pool im großen Garten mit schattengebender Pergola ist super schön und wurde von unserem Kleinen (und uns) geliebt. Fazit: Zu empfehlen!

Bien situé, propre et bien tenu. Pas de superflu, priorité à l'essentiel. Propriétaire sympa. Conseils de voyage: Beau, bon et riche culturellement. Seul point négatif : la circulation sur routes.
