The property was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Very clean and convenient. The bed and linens were comfortable and clean. The room had a kitchen and a balcony to enjoy the gorgeous views of the Tuscan landscape.

A little let down
I was very excited about our stay at this agriturismo but was a bit let down by the property itself. We stayed at a total of ten hotels during our trip to Italy and this was my least favorite. The previous agriturismo we lodged at was incredible and packed full of flowers and wildlife, this one was a slightly run down property with a small vineyard behind. The pool was not well kept and the rooms were minimal. The AC did not work well so it was hard to sleep at night. This is as an affordable hotel so it may be a case of “you get what you pay for”. Montalcino is a little less luxe than it’s neighboring regions in general. I would recommend opting for village stay over a farm stay in this Case. The highlight of our stay was catching a beautiful sunset, which was visible from the property.

Wonderful
Wonderful (and too short) experience! Beautiful house in an amazing peaceful location, only 5 min drive from cute Montalcino village. Pretty views from every corner of the place on the Tuscan hills and vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. We loved the pool area where we spent whole afternoon. Breakfast was great, there was standard fresh variety of food plus a lot of nice homemade cakes which was a great bonus. Coffee was lovely as well. Wish we stayed longer but we are definitely coming back in the future!

The room and property was clean and relaxing. The staff were helpful but have limited hours onsite. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the wine tasting onsite. No laundry on site so you will have to drag your laundry into town if needed.

The property has tremendous potential but the upkeep is not up to par. My bath mat was shredded with wear and tear and the linens and furniture were dated. The grounds are nice and breakfast was fresh.

Nice building and grounds but not all rooms are the airy, light filled accomodations with windows featured online. We were in a lower level underground room that was dark, dank, none too clean with little light. There is nothing available onsite except breakfast, you have to drive to the next town to buy anything such as snacks or drinks. Not terrible, a decent place to lay our heads after a day of sightseeing...but not as nice as we expected.

A little oasis in Tuscany
We spent the night of our 30th anniversary here and are so glad we did. The place is phenomenal. Loved everything about this place from the views, decor, proprietor, breakfast, wine. It was all amazing.

Well located with stunning views
Enjoyed our stay here. Room was huge; very clean and well appointed apartment. The agiturismo is set in a stunning location just outside of Montalcino but with easy access (by car) into town. It it also ideally located for visits to most of the regions other attractions. The swimming pool is a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was good quality and plentiful with something to suit everyone. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the beautiful landscape, tasty wine at their estate, breakfast on site, restaurant recommendations for lunch & dinner in Montalcino & San’ Angelo. The main reason we stayed here was for our children to have a seperate space in the living room with a pull out bed for the kids & a bedroom for the parents. The swimming pool was nice in July too! Beautiful memories. Schedule your wine tasting with Agustin. Very informative, delicious & fun!

Perfect location to get away and relax.
It’s more rustic than luxury, but that all adds to the charm. It’s a quiet location with fantastic views. The opportunity to taste the Vinyard wines was fantastic. You definitely need a car as there’s nothing in near walking distance but again that all adds to the rustic charm. Would definitely recomend it for a place to relax and unwind.

In one word, lovely. It was relaxing, clean, the views of the Tuscan hills and vineyards were amazing. Very clean. Breakfast was buffet style and lovely. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. It is located 5mins from town and 45 mins to Siena. There are wineries all over where you can stop and sample their product. You can even book a tour of this one!

Quaint hotel, great location and friendly staff
We arrived late at night, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The street of the hotel is amazing and the location is great - walking distance to most of the main attractions. Breakfast is great ! would love to stay here again.

We felt as though this place is magical. Located in the heart of the Chianti wine region in Tuscany, this place offers everything we wanted! Serenity, wine and a pool! The only downside to this stay is the staff. Although they were friendly, they definitely didn't go out of their way to make us feel truly at home. Great stay though!

Gorgeous views and centrally located
The Ragnaie is located as centrally as you can possibly be in Montalcino with very quick access to the over two hundred registered properties in the region. The rooms/apartments are massive by European standards and very well appointed. The views were breathtaking and the staff was very warm and inviting. This was a great first experience in Tuscany.
