Perfect wee village- pub excellent with a limited choice of pretty good pub grub and less than a 100yard stagger away! Lovely walks on the doorstep and beautiful scenery, and sheep."

"We had an amazing stay at Kenmure Kennels. The house was more than big enough to accommodate our party of 10. A beautiful house, lovely views, comfy beds and well equipped. Would definitely hope to stay again."

"The bedrooms were a generous size. With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"Ideally located, cosy cottage. Good facilities, good heating (we stayed during a cold snap in December). Easy to find on the main road, although that main road may mean light sleepers may lose some sleep in the front bedroom. Would definitely return."

"The apartment was ok with really good views, however it does state that there is a washer in the property but that is not true. Also whilst the apartment has a full bathroom, the shower had little to no pressure whilst we were staying. Finally, there were some minor maintenance issues like the bathroom door was very stiff to open, these could be resolved very easily."

"We had the most needed time out at this cozy, clean cottage. We were left to wander at leisure or sit in the garden near the waterfall. Margaret came to our rescue with a drop of milk when we arrived. She was very kind about my resent loss of my Mother and my need to get away from everything. We would definetly go back."

"Overall we had a lovely time In a lovely house set in a beautiful area. Very well equipped in some areas but lacking in others. A 2 slice toaster is not sufficient to make toast for upto 10people and it took 45 minutes to make toast for 5. Be aware that the 2 buildings are not joined by the upstairs which makes that part of the building somewhat isolated. Fine if it is accommodated by a separate family but not if you're a large family with young children. The living room could do with more...

Also everything you need in the cupboards Garden area was great and a lot of the farm animals came to say hello Nice walks nearby and other lovely places to visit by car. Would recommend people who are looking for a peaceful stay especially if you have a dog"
