The house keeping staff was exceptional and the front desk staff gave us a bottle of champagne on our first night to celebrate our honeymoon but that is essentially where the good experience ends. The room is bright and big but not well maintained with outlets seemingly coming loose from the walls. The “spa” was another disappointment, some of the amenities did not work and the rest were clearly poorly maintained. The restaurant menu was lacklustre and the morning breakfast service was very poor, staff were helpful and nice but the selection lacks the price paid and their were swarms of flies all over the pastries. This property requires you to pay extra for all ementies (pool, breakfast, parking) and overall does not provide 5 star or even 4 star service despite the 5 star price point.

The hotel check-in staff were lovely and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the air conditioner actually worked in stark contrast to some of the other hotels where I had stayed in the nearby area. I recommend this Hotel and I would stay again.
I also want to note that the pesto pasta at the restaurant within the hotel was the best that I had had in the entire Liguria region.
