Also strong smell of smoke on the corridor which would eventually be strong enough to wake you in the morning. Location and room was excellent just let down by a couple of unhelpful staff members, like not being able to book a taxi and the noise (no idea what it was) and smell of smoke on the floor which you would of thought staff would of smelt and resolved." Room was small but adequate, only issue was bed is long, several times my wife and I hit the low wooden end on our shin or foot. The Hotel is very authenticate 1920's beautifully furnished in the old style. Free snacks during the day were very welcome as was the rose water.
