Lovely relaxing hotel

The hotel is quite away from any main towns - which made it ideal for what we wanted - a peaceful retreat. The pool is great, and the pictures really don't do the place justice - it's actually relatively big, and there is a ping pong table and a little running/exercise area too, as well as a play area for kids. The staff were great - very welcoming, and the breakfasts and picnics were delicious. We will return!

Ligger lite avsides men ändå nära de platser som är värda att besöka på sydöstra delen av Sicilien. Husen är gamla men välskötta. Rummen rustika och håller hög standard. Rent och fint i området. Gott om platser att sitta ute och ta det lugnt. Frukost och middag är av hög kvalitet gjort på lokala råvaror. De som arbetar på Masserian är alla väldigt trevliga och hjäpsamma. Värt att besöka igen.

Wunderschön angelegte Masseria mit sehr freundlichem Personal (ganz besonders der Koch von unserem ersten Abend). Die Einrichtung ist super süß und geschmackvoll. Der Poolbereich sehr einladend, sogar mit Getränkeservice. Frühstück wird nach Wahl frisch zubereitet, es war alles vorhanden (sogar frisches Obst). Auch die Speiseauswahl am Abend war ausreichend und uns hat es geschmeckt. Wir haben spontan um eine Nacht verlängert, da es so schön war.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen! Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer war wie der Rest der Anlage sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal, insbesondere Elias und Cristina, war super freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben und freundlich aufgenommen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, der Pool ist schön, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Zusammensitzen. Das Frühstück war lecker und auch das Abendessen ist zu empfehlen.

Wij kregen een gratis upgrade naar een ruimere accomodatie (moeder bleek een eigen slaapkamer te willen), waarvoor onze dank! Vriendelijke medewekers en goede service. Tijdens ons verblijf mochten wij genieten van een heerlijk Siciliaans diner. Als dierenliefhebber kon ik genieten van de capriolen die de (jonge) poezen uithaalden die op het landgoed rondliepen. Vooral de aanwezige kinderen vonden de poezen erg leuk. Genoten van de rust, het zwembad en de plekjes waar je je even met een boek terug kon trekken. Al met al een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Hygge - rolige omgivelser - enorm gæstfrihed. Dejlig morgenmad og betjening - vi spiste to gange. Nød pool området - gårdmiljøet og loungemøblerne. Det var fantastisk. Det eneste minus var sengene som var hårde.

Masseria Ciancio'un luogo dove potersi rilassare circondati da una ricerca che esprime cuore e grande ospitalità! Con una cura e una gentilezza tale che ti senti a casa di amici E la bellezza degli arredi e degli oggetti scelti con grande gusto dalla signora. L'accoglienza squisita L"ottima colazione con finalmente frutta fresca e la cena a tema siciliana veramente lodevole!La camera/appartamento con mobili autentici di grande charme. Da tornarci una settimana al mese!

Wonderful Masseria

We stayed 6 nights at the Masseria and had a brilliant time there. The rooms and communal areas are beautifully appointed - very typical for the area, and very cosy. We took part in the Sicilian taster dinner there twice and food and service were both fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, too - good choice of fresh fruit, juices, meats, cheeses and home-made cakes as well as things cooked to order. The staff go out of their way to help and assist. The outside spaces of the Masseria are beautiful - the pool fantastic to relax in the afternoon. We would definitely return.
