"Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. "

"The couple who run the place are so welcoming and charming. We were made to feel it was a home from home, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely recommend this place to stay and we will definitely be going back."

"Great breakfast prepared by the owner with personalized choices. Lots of great info provided by the owners which helped us make choices for activities. Walkable to bus, local train and Dunster Castle. Our room was great with view of the Village. Will definitely stay again and do more in the Exmoor National Park as the Park Info Center is right in the town. Easy access to Minehead and start of the South West Coastal Path."
