"Just a lovely all round great place. Good value, lovely people and comfortable."

"The room was very nice, there was adequate parking. The breakfast was very good. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. The restaurant manager was very unhelpful and rude when we had an issue with our bill, she wouldn't acknowledge us and kept sending us back and forth via waitresses to try and resolve this. The next morning the manager on reception sorted it no problem and was very helpful. One of the waitresses took our drinks order and came back twice to ask us what we had ordered as she had forgot, then didn't get our food order right and had to be corrected."

"Staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Lobby is welcoming. Premises are clean. Great location easy walk from train station and city centre for shopping etc. The Ashton experience really depends on which rooms you stay in. Rooms are basic but always clean but it's pricey for what you get. But then accommodation in whole of UK is high compared to what you pay overseas."

"Ultra modern but very comfortable and spacious rooms, lovely bathroom. Great to have lemon water available in foyer for guests . Breakfast good too. Food quickly replaced in the breakfast buffet as it ran out. Good atmosphere in bar and quirky design, very comfortable. Could do with better instructions for air con as windows dont open even an inch, but everything else wonderful. And a grab rail in shower would be great."

"Room was clean beds were comfortable shower which was a wet room for was excellent very easy for my wife to use Bad point was the complete lack of plugs anywhere near the beds meaning I had to get out of bed and cross the room to turn my alarm off. We also had the breakfast which wasn't very good burnt bacon and unhelpful staff when trying to order a drink as they didn't seem to want to make a coffee from the machine instead directing me to the mostly cold offerings on the continental breakfast table. I would stay again just get breakfast elsewhere"
