"Enjoyed the room layout and the updated look. Only complaint was the squeaky beds as they sounded old when laying down on the bed, almost as if they had been used excessively. Anytime you moved you could expect to hear this sound unfortunately but room was clean."

"Perfect for what a motel is meant to be. No frills, just the essentials. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it’s pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. The TV in my room was great. The only improvement I’d suggest is upgrading the mattress, pillows, and sheets. Overall, a good value for a simple, comfortable stay."

"Good Staff was very attentive. Checking experience was great. Checkout experience was great. Not so great It’s an older hotel. It was clean but my room did smell like cigarettes. It bothered me but not my wife so other people might not notice. There were little things like rust on the door frame and scratches on the desk. Not enough to detract from the room but noticeable."

"Great stay! I arrived late due to a flight delay, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, the restaurant food was terrific, and easy parking option. The location is an easy walk to Yale and good restaurants, although feels a little unsafe at night, but that’s most places around New Haven. My only recommendation is to bring your own shampoos and soaps, otherwise 5 stars!"
