"Hotel is in a lovely old building and room had lots of character. Breakfast was nice and staff were very good. Would give it 5/5 but we didnt have a proper shower in our room and tv dudnt work properly. Which was a tad disappointing for a purported 4* hotel."

"The owner bent over backwards to ensure I was comfortable. My only recommendations would be the wifi isn't the best, and I had to take trash to the base to throw out because there was no where on site. These are simple fixes. I would definitely use again."

Difficult to find at night
"Please don't go to this hotel at night time, extremely in jungle with some houses on the road, hotel has no house number, all dark at night, no phone signal in that area. I had to go back all the way to my house without staying, No refund, just excused for dark hotel."

"Pros:Excellent budget hotel, free parking good breakfast choice and very friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in the new wing which was very clean and quiet. We caught the local bus into the city Number 2 and reception were very happy to guide and direct us on this.
Cons: These are minor issues. No towels in the room on arrival but very quickly sorted by lovely friendly hotel staff. Bed mattress very firm not great if you have a back problem and duvette only just reaches the sides, it would help if a sheet was provided under to stop the duvet falling off.
Overall a great short stay low budget hotel and would recommend"

"Parking, we used hotel recommended, thinking £12.50 24hrs but it isn’t
Train station parking 24 hrs begins 4am ends same next day, meaning you pay double for one night at hotel
We had a room on the 7th floor, amazing bed, so comfortable, views from balcony into town superb, fridge with drinks provided, beautiful bathroom v spacious, tea facilities in room, v good selection as well as teapot
Reception staff great, just found lunchtime staff needed a bit more training
Breakfast felt needed improvement, much of the hot food was over cooked and some bits cold, having a dairy allergy I asked and got some milk, but found no labelling on other items so stuck with fresh fruit, they had yoghurt and muesli made up as well as tubs of yoghurt
Pasties and muffins, some jams butter and veg spread as well as usual cereals available beside a nice choice of juices"
