A Quiet and Peaceful Haven on the Busy Costa del Sol

Our small family is spread around the world. My 52 year old brother lives in the US. I (54) live in Canada. Our 82 year old mother lives alone on the Costa del Sol. As her flat is very small, we decided to rent this property for a long overdue family reunion of nine nights. Simply stated, it is a wonderful property and one that we feel both lucky and blessed to have found. The photos and description of the property in the listing are an accurate reflection of its comfortable rooms, its varied spaces, its large size, its many amenities, its magnificent views, and its fantastic patio balconies (complete with roll down awnings) at the front and the back of the condo. What the listing does not do justice to, however, is just how quiet and peaceful and calming and restorative this property is given the crazy hustle and bustle of the ever growing coastal Costa. Even my workaholic brother was able to rest and relax and to feel revived after his stay despite still getting work calls from the US that he had to take! It was a real gift not hearing parties, loud conversations on the patios, neighbours' TVs, music, traffic, or any other enervating noises during our stay. All we heard were the swifts, doves, sparrows, occasional horse rider, or distant dog. In a word: Idyllic! In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that there is a house currently being built (May 2025) behind the flat but the noise was not intolerable and was over by the time we returned home each day.
