"Was exactly what we wanted somewhere quiet to stay with the family for pre-christmas celebration. Had not realised it was Arga for cooking, but have to say it was easy to use, and cooked our evening meal excellently. Would book again."

"The location was amazing with lovely views of the country. However, we had real issues with the cleanliness of the property. The issues included cobwebs (in pretty much every room) dirty sheets including the cot, unscrubed loos and soaking wet lounger cushions that had been left out. Whilst an attempt had been made to clean the stair carpet it was clear that a duralex glass had been broken on the stairs as shards of glass were found not only on the stairs but also on the ground floor. "A perfectly peaceful place to stay. Lots of walks direct from the door. Amberfold had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And we even got to see a deer from the front door! Would love to come back to do the rest of the serpent trail. Hosts were great and unobtrusive, but checked to see we were settled."
