"Lovely, spacious and comfortable room with en suite bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Excellent location for exploring the area. Easy, short journey into Durham city."

"The staff were fantastic, really nice. The room was massive, but missed out on 5-star as the shower was pathetic; there was a better shower in the pool. Food was a good selection, and the beer on tap was fantastic. Overall, I had a great break. It would have been excellent if the shower in the room had power.not like dripping tap"

"One of the best places I’ve stayed in a long time. Stayed here with my son as a stop of point on a ‘road trip’ and what a place!! Hit the driving range and the meal in the restaurant was fantastic!! The staff were very friendly and even willing to have a joke and carry on with my wee son. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!! Would love to try a long weekend and the golf course as it looks to be in great condition!!"
