"The location of the property is amazing; right on the lake. Very serene, very peaceful outlook. Our room was very basic. Having a queen and 2 singles in the room was a tight squeeze. Not much space for our suitcases. The walls had white patches and needed painting. The couch was old and didn't look particularly clean, needs replacing. No wifi in the rooms. Dining area is very large and dining menu is good. Some staff members were friendly and smiling, but there were others who it seemed just...

"What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away. "

"Stayed in one of the new cabins and it was very luxurious. Peaceful and calm sitting on the back deck and enjoying the views, sometimes seeing wildlife. This view could also be enjoyed from inside. Close to the visitors centre-5-10 min walk or a short drive to some walks near the Rangers Station. Would definitely stay again!"

"The proximity of this resort to Cradle Mountain was the best thing about it. Almost directly across from the shuttle stop to go up the mountain. Kitchen was adequate for a longer stay. And size was great for a small family. It was just 2 if us so we did not need the extra bedroom. The main lodge was busy and had no reservations for dinner left when we arrived but we were able to order pizza to take out that was really good. Cabins were basic but functional.
