We really enjoyed our stay at peppers. Do be aware that for most phone providers other than Telstra there is no cell reception and the wifi is only available in the reception. The massage we had was fantastic, the lodge and rooms were lovely and cosy. We even saw a Pademelon outside our window in the morning!

We stayed in the basic cabin and it was nice but I think they are overselling the luxury aspect a little especially for the price. If you are going in the colder months the source of heat is a gas fireplace which can be trickly to get the room to the right temperature. Also note there is no WIFI in the cabins, I don't think this is a bad thing as it helps connect you to nature a little more but something to keep in mind. The main hotel building has WIFI that works well if you need it.

Great location. Beautiful room. Let down by food quality of dinner and breakfast. In addition, they constantly ran out of bowls, cups and cutlery at breakfast. The food side of things needs some attention as the accomodation side of things is great.

Such a great way to experience Cradle Mountain. The warmth, coziness and comfort of our cabin welcomed us after a day exploring. Mulled wine and dinner in front of the fire at the bistro memorable. The staff in all areas welcoming, efficient and obliging. The wallabies and waterbirds spotted over breakfast at the restaurant fabulous!

Nice room for 3 people. Fireplace area was cosy and beds were comfy. 2ply toilet paper could be upgraded. Room service was only changing the towels and giving clean plates/cutlery. They didn't empty the bins.

Although the lodge we stayed in had all the amenities, it was starting to look a little tired. The gas fire was a very welcome feature after a cold and wet hike on the mountain. The Tavern served lovely food, the breakfast choice was good, the staff were very friendly and the surrounding area was stunning. The walks around the hotel were beautiful. An added bonus for us was seeing the local wombats at dusk

The property is in a fantastic location, only a 5 min walk to the shuttle bus that takes you up the mountain. There are also some lovely walks on the grounds with plenty of wombats, pademelons and possums to be seen. The staff are so helpful and add lovely touches like turning the heater/towel warmer on while you're out for the day and providing chopped wood for the fire. They even gave me chocolates and a card for my birthday! Property is looking a little tired but very clean and tidy. We'd go back again for sure.
