"I had good communication with the owner but admit was disappointed by the over all experience. For such a high cleaning fee, I did not expect to have to make the beds when I arrived, but did find it was in the fine print. The house is in decent condition, but having the furniture all covered with furniture blankets made it feel cheap. The heating was erratic(hot upstairs and cold down), and I was awakened one night with water noises, which turned out to be a flushing of the water system right...

"This centrally-located wonderful little cottage is tucked among the trees, yet an easy walk to downtown Burlington. Comfy bed - well-equipped kitchen - nice bathrooms! A rooftop patio complete with table, chairs and umbrella provides cool breezes among the treetops and views of the area, including several steeples. You can hear the bells as well - reminds me of a small European village. Hosts were very responsive and checkout was the easiest I've ever had with VRBO."

"Some trouble getting in but could have been some user error. The lock is a little different and it spins so can be confusing. The owners checked in quite a bit until they could get in. The only other trouble was the second shower had no hot water. Had to use 1 shower for everyone. Only there for a long weekend so unable to be fixed that quick, understandable. Owner was very respectful and responsive. The home was very clean and tidy. Seems like everyone was comfortable in the beds as well....

This trades views of the scenery (which are great, but not from the hot tub) for privacy (which our group enjoyed).
