Set in the woods with lots of trails to walk. Everyone worki g there (receptionist, bartender, cleaning people were very friendly and helpful.

We tried to Check in after 3PM was told the room was not ready. Asked to wait in the bar and have a drink on the house until ready. I think there was a staffing issue. Our room was not clean, Shower curtain had hair conditioner and shampoo on it. I cringe at the thought but I think the sheets on the bed were not changed either. We left the next morning. It should have been a nice treat for my wife’s birthday.

The young lady who checked us in was very kind. We dropped in last minute after we mucked up our initial reservation and she was more than accomodating. The room and property are lovely and we had a lovely stay, as short as it was. I would highly recommend anyone coming through the area give this location a shot!

Feels very secluded even though you’re very close to the highway. Rooms are updated (less the bathrooms). Restaurant has high quality food at a reasonable price and it’s very convenient being attached to the hotel. Compared to the first time we stayed the friendliness and attentiveness feels like it may have dipped downward a little bit but overall we were happy with our stay.

The driveway is in poor condition. Poor lighting. The restroom was dark, and Diggy was the dark furniture, and when I went in there I looked in the kitchen there was a guy standing there, copped his forehead off. Your overall condition of the interior is poor, dimly lit the room nothing I’m gonna brag about

Definitely a better choice for the summer or fall. Restaurant is a bit pricey and not a lot of options but decent quality. Stayed for company project for 3 nights.

Loved this place, the location and proximity close to Michigan city downtown and New Buffalo was great! What was cool is the isolation in the woods and the minimal capacity. Our Only take away is the strong odor of well water for the shower and bath Faucets. Other than that good service, good food and location.

Secluded
The hotel's idea is nice: quaint, quiet, secluded. There is a bar/restaurant on site: it was decent, (very nice atmosphere) but we did not try the food, just a few drinks. The breakfast is coffee, packaged muffins, fruit or packaged oatmeal. It was not available on Sunday morning when we left. Very clean but could use a facelift on some of the fixtures (rusty shower curtain rod). Staff was very friendly.

Don't Go Here as I want it to be kept a secret!
Amazing food! Beautiful setting and the price was crazy good. We had a whole team of our private wealth management staff stay and had a wonderful dinner as well. Can't wait to stay in the fall and take advantage of the beautiful grounds.

Coming from Chicago for a quick weekend away, the Brewery Lodge was perfection. The restaurant and bar are so impressive and it was just the perfect place to go to wind down, go for a hike, drink yummy cocktails by the fire. The staff were wonderful. We will be back.

This is a diamond in the rough. Clean, cozy, warm. Food is excellent at the dinner club. We also had breakfast. Excelllent all the way around. We will definitely go back and recommend this place to our friends. Love everything about this place.

The property was fine. Our room was comfortable but dark. Fairly dated furnishings overall, but a unique space and the grounds were very pretty.

We booked a room at this hotel not realizing it was 21 and up. We were denied check in due to having a minor child. We were told we would be refunded, however, never received the refund and had to dispute the charge with our credit card.

It was a little oasis that comes out of nowhere, you pull into the drive and it was a magical fall leaves tunnel back to the beautiful lodge. Our room was great and we so enjoyed the bar and the restaurant with fireplace. We were only there one night, but already booked a weekend in January. Seems like the perfect place to hunker down for a winter weekend.

Very nice, unique property with walking trails surrounding it. Loved the outdoor space and ability to enjoy nature. To be clear though, there is no brewery on site, it's about 4 miles away. Bar and restaurant is small but it was good. Temperature controls in the room did not work, and the water is gross, well water that has a very bad smell to it. They should provide more bottled water in the room. Toilet struggles to flush. Overall cool place, but the rooms themselves could use some imporvements
