"We waren de enige gasten en de alleraardige Emmo, de conciërge, deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo effectief mogelijk te maken, met uitgebreide informatie over de vervoersmogelijkheden naar Venetië onder het genot van gratis koffie. Helaas was het ontbijt wel typisch op z'n Italiaans. Het hotel is outdated naar Italiaans voorbeeld uit de jaren '50.
