On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. "perfect start to any break. the staff were helpful and the bar was great. we ate an evening meal in the bar area, good choice and given the location, not overpriced. the room was fab, the bed as super comfortable, there was everything you needed in the room, even a steamer to make you presentable for on wards travel. the best bit had to be the fact the the room is so quiet. we had an early, the hotel was really busy with families in particular, but we didn't hear a peep! We will definitively look to use this hotel in the future. "
